Virtual Reality is making its way into the construction industry, and Leyton Group is already putting it to work! By using VR headsets as part of our design and planning process, we’re finding smarter, safer, and more efficient ways to deliver bespoke staircases.
Helping our clients see the bigger picture
During the design phase, we use 3D VR to help clients walk through their stair designs within the actual layout of their building. It’s a simple but powerful way to explore details that are often hard to visualise on paper – from curved handrails to custom balustrades – and it helps to reduce back-and-forth later on.
By combining these models with 3D laser scans of the site, we can plan more accurately and make sure everything fits before fabrication begins. VR is helping us coordinate equipment positioning and safety zones ahead of time, which makes things run more smoothly on site and keeps risks to a minimum.
We’re already seeing the benefits. Problems are solved earlier, decisions are made faster, and the finished product arrives exactly as expected.
If you’re curious to see how it works, we’d be happy to show you.
