Within the prestigious Canadian Embassy on Trafalgar Square Leyton Group designed, fabricated and installed new feature staircase and all supporting steelwork within the atrium. Our works included the steel structure finished with a high quality site paint finish and glass balustrade. We also carried out the joinery works within the atrium area with all timber being sourced from Canada including oak treads, hemlock cladding to feature wall and soffits of stair.
On the 19th of February 2015 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth officially opened the renewed Canada House, to mark the occasion the atrium was named The Queen Elizabeth Atrium.
On this site we also carried out major structural alterations throughout including installation of new steel frame floors and roof structures, structure of a new cantilever balcony, various glass balustrades and the High Commissioners roof terrace.
